I am writing to advocate for the establishment of an Independent Federal Audit Committee (IFAC) – a transformative initiative designed to bolster fiscal transparency and institutional accountability. This committee would execute a comprehensive annual audit of federal operations and expenditures, utilizing a diverse body of experts including:

 - Federal Auditors to provide internal continuity;

 - State Auditors, serving on an annually rotating basis to ensure geographic and political parity;

 - Independent Specialists in finance, constitutional law, and public administration.

By integrating state-level perspectives with federal expertise, this intergovernmental framework would foster a new standard of nonpartisan oversight. The objective is not to impede federal functions, but to restore public confidence through rigorous, transparent stewardship of taxpayer resources.
