I am writing to express my concern about current US election procedures. As my representative, I urge you to champion a legislative framework that restores public confidence in our democratic process by prioritizing two critical pillars: voter integrity and candidate fitness. I believe this can be achieved by implementing the following measures:

(1) We must ensure that those elected to positions of leadership can be trusted with such a responsibility. They must be held to the highest personal and financial standards. I call for legislation that restricts federal office eligibility to individuals who:

 - Maintain a record free of felony convictions;

 - Demonstrate a history free from addiction (including gambling) or substance abuse;

 - Possess a record of fiscal responsibility, free from bankruptcies or significant financial instability.

(2) To ensure every election is fair, transparent, and secure, Congress must utilize its authority to regulate federal procedures by mandating that each state to adopts the This reform ensures that the right to participate in primary elections is extended to all Americans, effectively dismantling the partisan gatekeeping that currently favors only the most powerful political organizations.

This ensures that every presidential candidate must earn their mandate independently of their previous proximity to the executive branch.
